Happy New Year!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and success 2019. This past year flew by and sadly we didn't do as much blogging or reading as we had hoped, but it was a great year all the same, we took the time to forge new paths and spend time with family and friends. 

Chloe graduated high school this year and a few months later jumped into online courses to become a vet assistant. She also spent several hours volunteering at our local Animal Shelter, something she as really enjoyed. She loves helping with the dogs and getting them into their forever homes. 

Personally, I took some time to figure out my career goals; looking for a change. Got a promotion at my current job and plan to start dog training classes this year, with the goal to open our own animal rescue one day. I also reunited with some old friends, which has helped get me out of the house more. :)

2019...this last decade even has been packed full of so many great things, we can't wait to see what is in store for us in 2020. 

We do hope to post more reviews, have more blog posts in general. Our plan is to participate in some book memes throughout the year and spruce up or blog along the way.

Chloe and I just barely made our goals this year, it was a struggle to get into reading until the very last second however we were able to pull through. 

Personally, I am shooting for 50 books this year...it is going to be quite the challenge. And Chloe has yet to set her goal for the year...she is still debating.
